In addition to Ohio University and Ohio State University, there are dozens of online MSW programs offered by out-of-state schools that accept students from Ohio. Some out-of-state programs charge the same tuition for in-state and out-of-state students, while others do not. On OnlineMSWPrograms.com, we have done our best to indicate which schools charge the same tuition rates for in-state and out-of-state students, but always recommend that students reach out to prospective schools to confirm current tuition rates before applying.
Of the out-of-state programs, most are fully online and do not require students to visit the campus while they complete their degree program. Some do require students to make a limited number of campus visits during the program. These programs give students a chance to meet instructors and fellow classmates in person in addition to interacting online.
In the tables below, click on the school name to learn more about the programs offered by that school.
